Lloyd’s of London are known worldwide for their specialisation in the insurance market. The Lloyd’s market is made up of more than 50 leading insurance companies, over 200 registered Lloyd’s brokers and a global network of over 4,000 local cover holders every day! With establishing their business over 330 years ago, I think it’s fair to say that Lloyd’s of London have worked hard to become what they are today.
With there being a lot of specialist equipment on the Lloyd’s of London site, there is a lot that needs to be conscientiously tested and inspected to ensure complete safety for all the people working there. There were numerous things that needed to be tested and inspected, consisting of: eyebolts, crane mounted cable based fall arrest systems and cradles.
At Roodsafe we care about the safety of our clients and with so many pieces of specialist equipment it was even more essential that everything was 100% safe for use, not to say that it isn’t important to make sure all equipment is safe. So as we would for any of our clientele, we went to Lloyd’s site and we assiduously tested and inspected all eyebolts, crane mounted cable based fall arrest systems and cradles. When we carry out these tests and inspections we are looking for anything that may cause the system to become unsafe. It is important that these tests and inspections are carried out regularly and thoroughly.
