Cantilevered Edge Protection System
This revolutionary guardrail system provides permanent edge protection without the need to mechanically fix through the roofing membrane or building's structure. The system has been specifically designed to provide permanent edge protection where regular access for maintenance and inspections is required.
The strength, stability and safety of the system is derived from a simple cantilever principle, hence there is no need to drill and puncture the roof membrane, as with traditional systems. This therefore avoids noise disturbance during installation and potential penetrative water damage.
The system has been specifically designed to fit all shapes and sizes of flat roofs, even circular designs. The system can also cope with changes in levels, roof falls and difficult details, such as ductwork passing over the roof edge and cable trays/plant mounted at the roof edge. The counterweight & Safeclamp design allows the system to be used on plant congested roofs and this flexibility makes even the most difficult details possible.
